From Tesla Cybertruck to Lucid Gravity, Electrify Expo Seattle Showcased the Best in Electric Vehicles

  • Lucid debuted the upcoming Lucid Gravity SUV with third-row seating in Seattle.
  • Attendees had the exclusive chance to drive the Tesla Cybertruck on public roads.
  • Brands like Lexus, Hyundai, Nissan, Ford, BMW, Toyota, Volvo, Tesla, Lucid, Amazon, Verizon, and more showcased their latest electric products, offering hands-on demos across multiple zones.

Electrify Expo, North America’s largest electric vehicle (EV) festival, recently electrified the Pacific Northwest with an action-packed event at the University of Washington. Drawing thousands of attendees, the two-day festival offered hands-on experiences with the latest electric cars, motorcycles, e-bikes, scooters, and cutting-edge EV technology.

One of the weekend’s biggest highlights was the debut of the Lucid Gravity, giving attendees an exclusive first look at this highly anticipated three-row electric SUV. But Lucid wasn’t the only highlight. Seattle also saw demos from Tesla, including the Cybertruck, as well as test rides from top brands like Hyundai, BMW, Toyota, Volvo, Lexus, and Ford.

Hands-On EV Experiences Prove That Affordable, High-Performance Electric Cars Are for Everyone

These real-world experiences allowed people to interact and get hands-on with vehicles like the Hyundai IONIQ 5, the BMW iX, and the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT. These interactions created a genuine connection between consumers and the cars that could soon be in their driveways

As BJ Birtwell, CEO and Founder of Electrify Expo, put it, “We’re thrilled to have brought a huge lineup of EVs for our attendees to experience as well as inform them about the offerings from these manufacturers, which importantly debunks an abundance of misinformation that is out there today about the price, range, and performance of these incredible vehicles.”

This is precisely why events like Electrify Expo are more effective than any political mandate—they let the products speak for themselves.

But it’s not just about performance or luxury; it’s about practicality. The best electric vehicles aren’t just for those with deep pockets or an environmental agenda. In fact, some of the cheapest electric vehicles were on display, proving that EVs are accessible to everyone.

Used electric vehicles, for example, have become a great option for budget-conscious consumers. As seen in recent finance and lease deals, brands like Nissan, Hyundai and Kia are making it easier than ever to get behind the wheel of an EV without breaking the bank. The Kia Niro EV, for instance, offers affordability, while still packing in solid range and modern features.

Breaking EV Myths with Hands-On Demos and Real-World Solutions

Events like Electrify Expo also help debunk persistent myths about EV ownership. The Amazon Recharge Zone gave attendees a chance to ask questions about charging, maintenance, and overall convenience—something many people remain wary about when considering the switch from gas to electric.

“The State of Washington and specifically the city of Seattle continue to embrace EVs at a rapid pace,” Birtwell shared, highlighting the region’s proactive role in the transition. The focus goes beyond just new electric cars, and it’s making ownership simpler and more efficient. This includes affordable home chargers and a seamless public charging network.

What Electrify Expo brings to the table is the ability to strip away the politics and focus on the excitement and practicality of electric vehicles. Whether you’re interested in the luxury of the Lucid Gravity, the utility of an electric vehicle truck like the Ford F-150 Lightning, or even the least expensive electric car options out there, the festival lets you compare and decide what fits your lifestyle. You get to test the power of a Tesla Model 3, which you can now lease for under $300/month, or dive into the spacious and versatile Hyundai Kona Electric, known for its family-friendly design and impressive range.

More Than Cars—E-Bikes, E-Scooters, and Mustang Mach-E Hot Laps

The experience goes beyond just cars, too. E-bikes, e-scooters, and even e-skateboards were available for demo, showing that electric transport is about much more than just commuting—it’s about enjoying the ride. Exhibitors like Rad Power Bikes, SUPER73, NIU, GoTrax, Stacyc, JackRabbit, and Vvolt brought their latest models to the event, giving attendees a wide range of electric options to test out and experience firsthand.

At the Ford Thrill Zone, attendees felt the adrenaline as professional drivers took them on hot laps in a Ford Mustang Mach-E. Over at the Verizon Wireless booth, visitors got hands-on with the latest mobile tech. Electrify Expo made it clear that EVs are here to stay and ready to meet a variety of needs.

Electrify Showoff Expands with Custom EV Builds, Conversions, and Award-Winning Showstoppers

Electrify Showoff, presented by Yokohama Tires, brought a different kind of excitement to the scene. “We love Seattle, the scene, the clean builds, the EV conversions; the whole atmosphere embodies what Electrify Showoff is all about,” mentioned Neil Tjin, Director of Electrify Showoff and Electrify Outdoor Rec.

The event doubled in size this year, with vendors showcasing everything from custom builds to EV conversions. Bisimoto’s EV-converted Porsche, a standout at the Toyo Tires booth, took home the award for Best Vendor Vehicle, while Peter Lee’s stunning Porsche conversion in the POR15 booth snagged Best Conversion for its clean and innovative design.

Enthusiasts of all ages flocked to the JackRabbit Zone to try out their lineup of electric micro bikes, while the SUPER73 lounge showcased four custom SUPER73 bikes. Tint World, WuWraps, and the talented team from the University of Washington rolled in with some of the most impressive custom electric cars on display.

EV Works and EV West spent the weekend showing spectators and consumers how to turn their traditional cars into electric vehicles, sharing the latest methods and innovations. Other popular exhibitors that drew crowds throughout the event included Tesla Owners Group, Green Volt, and Black Dog Electric.

EV Overland Trailers and Campers Take Electrify Outdoor Rec to New Heights

For those who crave outdoor adventure, the Electrify Expo Outdoor Rec section, presented by Falken Tires, delivered. The Campworks booth became a hub of activity as spectators checked out their overland campers, designed to be the perfect travel companions for EV owners.

One standout was the Polydrops trailer, pulled by a Kia EV9, featuring the latest in camping tech and comfort. “If you are looking to get away, explore the great outdoors, and live your best life, look no further than what Polydrops has to offer,” highlighted Tjin.

It’s a glimpse into how electric vehicles are not only changing daily commutes but also opening new doors for recreational experiences. As the outdoor space continues to grow, electric vehicles are now taking you further than ever—whether it’s a road trip or a weekend escape into the wilderness.

Electrify Expo Next Stops New York and Austin

As Electrify Expo continues its national tour, hitting New York on October 12-13 and Austin on November 9-10, it’s clear that hands-on experiences are what will drive EV adoption—not mandates. Consumers don’t want to be told what to buy; they want to feel the excitement for themselves, to experience the smooth, silent ride of an electric car, or the instant torque that makes these vehicles so fun to drive. This is why Electrify Expo matters. It gives people the chance to explore, learn, and most importantly, enjoy the future of transportation.

For those who missed the Seattle stop, don’t worry—Electrify Expo is heading to New York next, and whether you’re looking for the best least on electric vehicles, trying to figure out the cheapest electric vehicles, or even just curious about the electric vehicle mandate, it’s an event that will change how you think about going electric. If you’re ready to ditch the politics and focus on what really matters—experience—Electrify Expo is where you need to be. For tickets and information, visit electrifyexpo.com.
