The safest auto brand in the US is moving its electrified models into 33 states and in two standalone retailers, while also adding more complimentary features for drivers with 2023 models and newer.

Where to Find Genesis Electric Vehicles

Shoppers looking for the Genesis GV60, Electrified GV70, and Electrified G80 will find them in 33 states, including Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oklahoma, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Adding More Genesis Standalone Retail Shops

The two newest standalone retailers selling the Genesis models include Genesis of South Bay in Torrance, California, and Genesis of Baton Rouge in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The automaker currently has nine standalone retailers, while most Genesis shoppers will find the luxurious, safe, and innovative lineup at local Hyundai dealerships.

The Genesis brand is working toward an all-electric lineup by 2023, while also changing the way consumers purchase their EVs. Claudia Marquez, COO of Genesis Motor North America said of the newest retailers: “We are also excited to announce the completion of two more standalone retail facilities, Genesis of South Bay and Genesis of Baton Rouge, allowing even more customers to discover the Genesis brand in a dedicated showroom for a tailored purchase and owner experience.”

The standalone Genesis shops offer an open floor plan with a sophisticated showroom featuring SUVs and sedans. Inside the showrooms, customers will find a Genesis Concierge, who serves as a personal advisor who schedules test drives and assists with vehicle deliveries.

Complementary EV Charging From Electrify America

Drivers who purchase a Genesis EV will get three years of complimentary charging at Electrify America. The complimentary sessions are for 30 minutes, which is more than enough time to fully charge all Genesis EVs with the 800-kW charging architecture. The lineup of Genesis EVs can go from 20% to 80% in about 15 minutes at 350-kW Electrify America DC fast-charging station.

Genesis drivers can also take advantage of home charging benefits from Genesis Home. The customer service experts at Genesis Home will help drivers arrange at-home EV charging installation and solar panel installation to reduce reliance on public utilities.

Three Years of Complementary Genesis Connected Services

Along with the additional EV shopping opportunities, Genesis also shared it is providing three years of complimentary access to Genesis Connected Services. This telematics suite includes Genesis Connected Care, Remote, and Guidance systems are included with all 2023 and newer models.

Drivers with 2022 models and older will still be able to access Genesis Connected Services but for a small subscription fee. The subscription will include enhanced services that include Automatic Collision Notification, Charge Management, Digital Key, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Remote Start with Climate Control, and Stolen Vehicle Recovery.

Genesis owners can access the services through their smartphones, their vehicle’s display, and through a web-connected computer.
