Hyundai Sales Soar: 15% Increase & Green Car Climb

Hyundai Motor America sold 15% more cars in April 2023 than in April last year – that’s amazing! CEO Randy Parker is thrilled, saying, “Our dealers can’t keep up with the high demand for Hyundai cars, and we’re dedicated to giving customers an amazing buying experience.” They sold a total of 70,812 cars – the second-best April in their history!

Hyundai’s Eco-Friendly Cars Drive Record Sales in April 2023 – Green Car Sales Up 56% and Best-Ever Retail Sales Achieved

One of the most notable trends in the recent sales report is the climb of green car sales, which represented 18% of retail sales and increased by a whopping 56% year-over-year. This is great news for the environment and for Hyundai, as they are making strides in producing eco-friendly vehicles. In addition, they set their best-ever retail sales for Elantra HEV, Elantra N, Santa Fe HEV, Tucson PHEV, Tucson HEV, and Santa Cruz.

Hyundai Sweeps Awards at New York Auto Show with IONIQ 6 & Disney100 Platinum Concept – Palisade, IONIQ 5 & Tucson PHEV Also Recognized

The recent success of Hyundai can be attributed to their diverse lineup of vehicles, which includes the recently on-sale IONIQ 6 that swept the World Car of the Year awards at the New York International Auto Show. The IONIQ 6 Electrified Streamliner was named World Car of the Year, World Electric Vehicle, and World Car Design of the Year. They also unveiled its special IONIQ 5 Disney100 Platinum Concept car at the New York Auto Show in celebration of Disney’s 100th anniversary.

Hyundai has also been recognized by various publications for their exceptional vehicles. The 2023 Palisade was named one of Autotrader’s Best New Cars for 2023, the Hyundai 2023 IONIQ 5 was named Best Electric Crossover Vehicle for Good Housekeeping’s 2023 Best New Family Cars, and the 2023 Hyundai Tucson Plug-in Hybrid was named Best Plug-in Hybrid by U.S. News & World Report for the second year in a row!


Hyundai Celebrates 25 Years of Hope On Wheels with $25 Million Donation to Pediatric Cancer Research – Also Teams Up with AAA Insurers for Vehicle Security

To further contribute to the community, Hyundai Hope On Wheels celebrated its 25th year with a $25 million donation to pediatric cancer research. The company also collaborated with AAA insurers to offer insurance options in most states for owners of certain Hyundai vehicles without push-button ignitions and immobilizing anti-theft devices.

Hyundai’s recent sales report showcases their commitment to producing high-quality vehicles that meet the needs and demands of their customers.
