- All Norco Range VLT and Sight VLT bikes now feature the Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System.
- Riders can customize their performance using the Bosch ebike Flow app.
- The bikes feature Norco’s Virtual Pivot Suspension to give riders a better ride on technical terrain.
- All of these new e-bikes come with a 750Wh battery for longer range.
Norco announced a few new bikes for 2024, including three of the Range VLT and one for the Sight VLT. Both lines switch from a Shimano EP8 motor to a Bosch Performance Line CX with the Bosch Smart System. All of the new Norco bikes use Bosch’s highest-capacity 750Wh PowerTube battery in their down tube for long-range and all-day riding without having to recharge.
Each new Norco mountain bike features an A-framed front triangle, which allows for the mounting of Norco’s Virtual Pivot Suspension/High Pivot suspension layout. This setup increases rearward axle path to improve suspension performance in technical terrain and offers a responsive and dynamic feel.
They also all come with Norco’s Ride Aligned Setup Guide to set your bike up for you the same way pro riders have their bikes set up. It takes into consideration factors like height, weight, proportions, and riding style to give you a solid start to perfectly adjust your electric mountain bike for the best ride.

2024 Norco Range VLT
The enduro-focused Norco Range VLT line has three options this year: two carbon-framed bikes and one aluminum-framed bike.
The carbon-framed bikes, dubbed the C1 and C2, both feature a mullet setup, with a 29” front wheel and a 27.5” rear wheel. Both have SRAM Eagle drivetrains and SRAM Code RSC hydraulic disc brakes with quad-piston calipers and a 220 mm front rotor and 200 mm rear. They have TranzX adjustable dropper posts with 135-200 mm of travel depending on frame size.
The C1 has the top-of-the-line components, like a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain and a SRAM AXS POD Controller for the rear shifter, as well as a Rockshox Zeb Ultimate fork with 180 mm of travel and a Rockshox Vivid Ultimate rear shock, also with 180 mm of travel.
It tips the scale at 57.6 lbs for a medium. Keep in mind that, while those numbers seem heavy for an eMTB, the bike comes with the biggest battery Bosch makes.
The C2 steps down a bit in component specs (and therefore price). It keeps the SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain overall, but it comes down slightly on the fork spec with a Rockshox Zeb Select+ and Rockshox Vivid Select+ rear shock, both with 180 mm of travel. The C2 weighs the same as the C1, at 57.6 lbs.
The A1 features a butted aluminum frame and is about 3 lbs heavier, hitting the scales at just over 60 lbs. It has a Rockshox Zeb Select fork with 180 mm of travel and a Rockshox Vivid Base rear shock with 180 mm of travel. The extra weight may be worth the lower price.
All three bikes run 29” x 2.4” Continental Kryptotal-F Enduro front tires and 27.5” x 2.4” Continental Kryptotal Enduro rear tires.

2024 Sight VLT
The Norco electric bicycle designed for all-mountain riding is the Sight VLT. Last year they had three options: one carbon and two aluminum. This year it’s just the carbon version, dubbed the Sight VLT C1. It has a mullet setup, a 29” wheel on the front and a 27.5” rear wheel, with a Rockshox Lyrik Ultimate fork with 160 mm of travel in the front and Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate with 150 mm in the rear.
You get going with a SRAM Eagle AXS drivetrain, and you can stop on a dime with SRAM Code RSC hydraulic disc brakes with quad-piston calipers and a 220 mm front rotor and 200 mm rear.
Other nice touches include an 800 mm One Up carbon handlebar (a friend calls these “yard bars”) and a TranzX adjustable dropper with up to 200 mm of travel (depending on frame size). The bike comes with a Continental Kryptotal-F Trail Endurance 29” x 2.4” front tire and a Continental Xymotal Enduro 27.5” x 2.4” rear tire. The weight of the medium-sized C1 is 55.6 lbs.
Pricing on all models of the Norco Range VLT and the Sight VLT is still to be determined.
