Starting in 2024, the Tesla Supercharger Network will open its doors to GM EV drivers, initially requiring the use of an adapter. However, the true breakthrough arrives in 2025 when GM EVs will be equipped with a NACS inlet, granting direct access to Tesla Superchargers without the need for an adapter. Moreover, GM plans to offer adapters for NACS-enabled vehicle owners, enabling them to charge on CCS-capable fast charge stations.
Enhanced Charging Experience
GM aims to integrate the Tesla Supercharger Network seamlessly into its vehicle and mobile apps, empowering drivers to locate, pay for, and initiate charging at available Tesla Superchargers with ease. This integration will complement the growing Ultium Charge 360 Network and other charging stations offered through GM’s collaborations with existing charging networks, ensuring a comprehensive charging experience for GM customers.
