Electrify Showoff Driven by Yokohama witnessed the rise of some truly influential figures, and one name that shone brighter than the rest was Ryan Basseri of RyWire Motorsport Electronics. Ryan brought the heat with not just one, but two of his electrifying conversions. The first one that stole the show was his jaw-dropping Honda S2000, a project that had already made waves at SEMA in 2022. This beauty grabbed everyone’s attention with its subtly modified exterior and intriguing absence of exhaust openings. But Ryan didn’t stop there. He had another trick up his sleeve – a red 6th-generation Honda Civic hatchback that left visitors in a state of awe. What made this bad boy truly exceptional? Well, it incorporated Tesla motors, delivering power to all four wheels through the ingenious EV control solutions by AEM Electronics. This mind-blowing creation showcased the boundless possibilities of electric conversions, leaving everyone inspired and amazed.

Evasive Motorsports: Masterful Tesla Model 3 Build and Triumph

But Ryan wasn’t the only one making waves at the show. Evasive Motorsports presented a masterfully built Tesla Model 3, driven by the skilled Dai Yoshihara. After facing electrical troubles during the 2021 Pikes Peak hill climb, they bounced back like true champions in 2022. Not only did they secure the fastest time among all the EV competitors, but they also snagged an impressive ninth-place finish overall. It was a triumphant moment for the team and a testament to the power of cutting-edge technology.

During Industry Day, SIERRA Cars Founder and Professional Racecar Driver Cole Powelson and Hypercraft’s new Vice President of Direct Sales Kirk Miller announced that Lucy Block, a rally driver and the wife of the legendary late Ken Block, would be taking part in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb to honor her husband’s legacy and raise awareness for the 43 Institute. The Sierra Echo EV itself was a powerhouse on wheels, packed with state-of-the-art technology and powered by Hypercraft’s electric drive system.

The show was filled with other modified electric rides that made a serious statement. AutoFashion brought their A-game with a drool-worthy widebody Tesla Model 3, while Tjin Edition Fords stole the spotlight with their attention-grabbing orange Mach-E and an F-150 Lightning built for overlanding.
