Representing “The Gateway for Fun” in Kissimee, Florida, William Madayag has brought his passion for customizing cars to life with his 2021 Tesla Model 3. More than just a car, this vehicle represents a journey of resilience, creativity, and innovation.
As a proud member of the car club Ruined EV, William’s Model 3 won multiple awards at Electrify Showoff Driven by Yokohama in Orlando, Florida, including Best Paint presented by Meguiar’s and Best of Show presented by Yokohama Tire. His custom Tesla Model 3 not only showcases personalized modifications but also highlights the limitless potential of electric vehicles (EVs) in custom car culture.

William’s story in automotive customization spans over two decades, with a passion ignited by the iconic film “The Fast and the Furious.” Starting with a humble Honda Civic at the age of 15, his latest project showcases his evolution in the craft. “Customizing my Tesla was about proving that electric vehicles can stand out just as much as any other car,” William explained. His favorite modification on his current build? A one-piece wide body front fender layered in forged carbon and tinted it with candy purple. “It was my first time doing forged carbon skinning with the help of Eric from Karbonworks,” he mentioned.
The Tesla’s eye-catching Porsche Violet Blue Metallic paint, a winner at the show, was praised for its unique blend of depth and vibrancy. Meguiar’s, a leader in car care products, sponsored the Best Paint award. William’s Tesla represents a high level of achievement for car enthusiasts, showcasing what is possible with the right products and a creative vision.
His choice of wheels and tires further complements the vehicle’s striking appearance. The Avant Garde F142 wheels, sized 19×11 at the front and 19×12 at the rear, are paired with Yokohama Advan Sport A/S tires, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and performance. Yokohama’s tires are designed for the enthusiast who demands the best in performance and style, and William’s Model 3 is a testament to their commitment to excellence.
In the interior, the Tesla features custom forged carbon panels and a Black Lux suede headliner with Starlight, adding to the futuristic vibe of the cabin. The car’s chassis and suspension modifications, including the Fly Air Suspension and Air Lift Performance 3H management, ensure that its performance is as impressive as its appearance.
In the trunk, alongside the custom car audio setup, several pairs of Nike SB Dunk Low shoes were on display. However, the pair that particularly stood out and earned William the “Best Kicks” award presented by Jawns on Fire was the Travis Scott (Friends and Family) edition.

William encountered significant challenges during this project, particularly in juggling his responsibilities as a father of four. “Working at night while my kids slept was tough, but involving them in the build made it a family project,” he shared, highlighting the personal significance of this build, especially after overcoming a severe car accident in 2018. This project car isn’t just a build but a statement of resilience and a return to life’s passions.
The wide list of modifications William made to the Tesla Model 3 and the journey behind them strike a chord within the EV community, highlighting innovation, commitment, and a passion for vehicle customization.
