The 2024 Nissan Ariya features a streamlined lineup consisting of five well-equipped trims, including the Ariya Engage, which has been reduced by $3,600, and other trim levels receiving a reduction of up to $6,000. This reduction in pricing across all trim levels makes the Ariya even more accessible to EV enthusiasts.

Range and Performance Options

One of the key highlights of the 2024 Nissan Ariya is its versatility, offering two battery sizes and the option of front-wheel drive or Nissan’s advanced dual-motor e-4ORCE all-wheel drive. With available battery options including a 63-kWh standard range battery exclusive to the Ariya Engage and an 87-kWh long-range battery, the Ariya delivers impressive output ratings ranging from 214 to 389 horsepower.

The Ariya features an EPA-estimated driving range of up to 304 miles, meeting the demands of American consumers who insist on at least 300 miles of EV range. Additionally, select trim levels offer available ProPILOT Assist 2.0 for hands-off highway driving, further add to the driving experience.

Nissan’s commitment to innovation extends beyond the vehicle itself, with the introduction of more convenient charging options for Ariya owners. Through an agreement with Tesla, Nissan will make available a North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter (SAE 3400) for the Ariya later this year, allowing customers to connect their vehicle’s charging port to NACS plugs at compatible Tesla Superchargers.

This partnership significantly expands the network of fast-charging stations accessible to Ariya owners, greatly improving the overall ownership journey.

  1. Any word on the Ariya 2023 and 2024 models getting vehicle mechanical upgrades to change the charging port to the NACS, from CCS?

Having to use an adapter for 10 years and more seems to be a small inconvenience, when the 2025 year gets the NACS as default.

Some Tesla charging pedestals, for now, have built in charge port adapter, dependent on vehicle assigned to charge.

  2. Have Lectron adapter for 2023Nissan Ariya. Have Tesla. Have hooked up to Tesla supercharger and can’t get Tesla network to allow charge to commence. What a, I doing incorrectly?
