This strategic initiative was set in motion with the aim of systematically implementing a bus replacement strategy that leans heavily on greenhouse gas (GHG) reducing technology.

The recent contract to acquire 33 Nova Bus LFSe+ electric buses is a significant stride toward actualizing BC Transit’s goal of transitioning to a fully electric fleet, underscoring the agency’s prioritization of sustainable and eco-friendly public transportation solutions.
