MV Agusta Partners With Kymco on Ampelio

Ampelio

Retro-inspired motos are having a real moment, and sometimes from surprising sources. MV Agusta, normally known for its more aggressive stylings, has started to branch out and recently partnered with Taiwanese brand Kymco to create the Ampelio concept.

The Ampelio clearly takes its design inspiration from mid-century scooters, though it still uses the Kymco S7 scooter as its base.

Since this is still only a concept, we can only imagine what the specs would be if this ever went into production. But a concept like this shows that MV Agusta is serious about entering the EV market, where Kymco already has a proven track record in the EV and battery space.
