Autev Ushers in a New Era of EV Charging

  • Autev has created autonomous charging robots
  • This will revolutionize charging in areas where traditional infrastructure isn’t possible
  • The robots will make EV charging more accessible

In a world where electric vehicles (EVs) are rapidly gaining popularity, the need for efficient and accessible EV charging stations has become paramount. Autev has developed a solution to solve many of the challenges facing the charging industry — an autonomous charging robot.

Combatting charging challenges

Autev’s EV charging stations are designed to address specific challenges such as limited charging infrastructure and lengthy charging times. By deploying its advanced technology, Autev aims to make electric vehicle charging faster, more convenient, and widely accessible.

Osama AlSalloum the founder and the CEO of Autev says: “Our market research has shown that there is a huge gap in the market between the increase of EVs on the streets and how EV charging infrastructure is growing. Building new public charging stations or dedicated EV charging parking spaces in areas of shared parking presents logistical challenges. Additionally, while 80% of EV owners charge their EVs at home using their own charging devices, at-work and on-the-go EV charging segments are potentially the fastest growing through 2030.”

Charging robots

This is more than simply adding new charging infrastructure. Autev has developed a charging robot to deliver charge to EVs wherever they need it. Syd Manna, co-founder and the COO of the company, explains: “We have developed an autonomous charging robot that can provide on-demand charging wherever it is needed.

“Our technology reduces the need for a fixed charging infrastructure and makes EV charging more convenient for EV owners. Furthermore, we offer Robotics as a Service (RaaS) for charging facility owners, who pay a monthly fee, as well as two sub-revenue streams from user charging fees and advertising.”

Autev’s robotic charging stations are designed with future scalability in mind. As the demand for electric vehicles continues to grow, the robots can be easily deployed to accommodate a larger fleet of electric cars. This adaptability ensures that Autev’s charging network remains future-proof, capable of meeting the evolving needs of the electric vehicle market.

This has the potential to change the EV charging landscape and improve the infrastructure in areas where it’s not as easy to install a charge point. Through these state-of-the-art autonomous charging robots, Autev is addressing the challenges associated with electric vehicle charging and advancing the adoption of electric vehicles.

With the company’s commitment to efficiency, accessibility, and technological integration, Autev is spearheading the future of EV charging, empowering electric vehicle owners to embrace a greener and more sustainable future.
