BMW i4 Polizei Tuned to the Max

It’s a fine line to tune your BMW and stay within road regulations, so why not try it out on a cop car to and keep things legal?

Aachen-based tuning company AC Schnitzer has tuned various cars for German polizei over the years, and the latest one is a BMW i4. The whole process was part of the Tune it! Safe! initiative that has been promoting safe, legal tuning in Germany for 17 years.

This BMW i4 police car concept uses the brand’s aerodynamic package, coming with a front spoiler, front side wings, front splitter, rear roof spoiler, rear side wings, and carbon rear spoiler.

The AC Schnitzer touch added a lowering kit, which makes the cop car about 20-25 mm lower than a standard car. To keep it all looking fun and sporty, it also comes with AC Schnitzer wheels – a set of 20-inch AC4 Flow Forming rims in BiColor Silver/Black finish wrapped in Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 tires.

Of course, all of the components used on this special Tune it! Safe! edition of the police car have been tested and passed all road regulations. So now some lucky coppers in Germany can look super-fly in their car while still promoting legal tuning.
