INTHEAIR BIKE, an electric bike company focused on the production and sales of electric bicycles, today announced the launch of its latest products, two new folding electric bikes, INTHEAIR COLTS and INTHEAIR RANGER.

COLTS

The InTheAir Colts has a 750W brushless geared hub motor that boast 65Nm of torque, 48V/620Wh battery, can fit someone from 5’1″ to 6’3″ and up to 330 lbs of rider+cargo. They claim a 30-50 mile range, and it’s a Class 3, able to go up to 28 mph with pedal-assist.

It folds down fairly small, they claim it will fit in a car’s trunk, an RV or even a helicopter.

It also has a Shimano 7-speed derailleur, a multifunction LCD, 26″x4.0″ tires, an adjustable suspension fork, mechanical disc brakes, and a thumb throttle. There’s an integrated headlight, front and rear fenders, a rear rack and a front basket, as well as an extra large padded seat.

The bike features a cadence sensor to know when you are pedaling to add power. Charging time is 4-6 hours, total weight of the bike is 78 lbs.

Price is at $1499, and currently there are some savings codes on their website.

RANGER

The Ranger is the 20″ version of the Colts, with many of the same other specs and features.

The battery is mounted behind the seat tube and is removable, it’s also a Class 3, 28 mph bike, with a 330 lb payload capacity (rider+cargo). It weighs in at a still heavy 76 lbs.

Folded, it’s even smaller, able to fit 2 in most trunks.

Price for the Ranger is $1399, with some discounts currently available on their website.
