Ever had that moment when you’re cruising on your bike, feeling the wind in your hair, and suddenly think, “I wish my bike could do just a bit more”? Well, Rad Power Bikes heard you loud and clear.

They’ve just rolled out the next generation of their RadRunner family, and let’s just say, these aren’t your average electric bikes. With the introduction of the RadRunner, RadRunner Plus, and the all-new RadRunner Max, Rad Power Bikes is upping the ante in the electric cargo bike game.

Starting with the RadRunner, this Class 2, single-speed ebike retains its compact frame but now features a 750-watt motor, an improved 320 lb. payload, and a range of over 55 miles per charge. It’s the reliable workhorse you know, now with more muscle.

The RadRunner Plus steps it up with a passenger seat, retractable footpegs, and a protective wheel skirt. With 70Nm of torque and a suspension fork, it’s ready to tackle hills and bumpy terrains. Plus, with the optional Range Extender, you can go up to 120+ miles without breaking a sweat.

But the RadRunner Max Class 3 ebike reaches speeds up to 28 mph and offers over 60 miles of range on a single charge. What makes this electric cargo exciting is it features a torque sensor fine-tuned with RideLogic tech, providing a smooth, responsive feel akin to accelerating in a car.

Add in a digital key that unlocks as you approach with your phone, rear radar detection alerting you to approaching vehicles, and Apple Find My integration, and you’ve got a bike that’s as smart as it is powerful.

Safety hasn’t been overlooked either. All models come equipped with Rad’s Safe Shield Batteries, which are UL 2271 certified and feature thermal-resistant technology. Hydraulic disc brakes ensure smoother, faster stops, and IPX6 weather protection means you can ride confidently, rain or shine.

Kathi Lentzsch, CEO of Rad Power Bikes, stated, “The new RadRunner lineup is all about giving riders more versatility, more comfort, and more confidence.”

With prices starting at $1,499 for the RadRunner, $1,799 for the RadRunner Plus, and $2,299 for the RadRunner Max, there’s a model for every rider. And for those looking to extend their ride, the RadRunner Range Extender is available for $249, compatible with the RadRunner Plus and Max.

So, if you’re in the market for an electric bike that combines power, safety, and smart features, the new RadRunner lineup might just be what you’re looking for.
