1,874 HP Battista Arrives in America

AUTOMOBILI PININFARINA DELIVERS FIRST BATTISTA CARS TO U.S. CLIENTS AND FURTHER STRENGTHENS PRESENCE IN NORTH AMERICA

Pininfarina reaches major milestone with the delivery of the first two Battista electric hyper GT cars in North America!

We’ve covered this jaw-dropping hypercar before, and everything we said then still applies. It still accelerates from 0-60 MPH in just 1.8 seconds, it’s still electronically limited to 217 MPH, and there are still claims of cars hitting 250+ MPH in testing.

And now, it’s doing all that stuff in America! “The team and I are very proud of Automobili Pininfarina’s expansion in the U.S. and the delivery of the first Battista cars stateside,” says Per Svantesson, Automobili Pininfarina CEO. “This (car) symbolizes our creation of a new luxury electric car segment both in the US and globally. With a passionate collector receiving the first Battista in North America, we see tremendous confidence in this masterpiece of design and technology in this influential community.”

The specification of the first US Battista features a sophisticated silver and carbon fiber theme with red aluminum details. Led by an Argento Liquido paint finish on the body, the Carbon Accent Pack and mirror caps finished in exposed carbon fiber. Meanwhile, the streamlined Goccia roof is painted in Nero black, and the Exterior Jewelry Pack (an actual option on a multimillion-dollar car, apparently) is a brushed aluminum painted in a bespoke vibrant red. Matching red brake calipers and center lock rings complement the Impulso wheel rims painted in Gloss Black.

The interior upholstery is finished in chrome-free leather that is sustainably tanned by a supplier local to Automobili Pininfarina in Italy, using the leaves from regional olive tree harvesting.

Every detail is considered on this example, with a bespoke car key (a special request from the customer) featuring a stripe finished in the same red anodized brushed aluminum to match the interior detailing. You can see that one-of-one key for yourself, below.
