Geely Icon Chocolate, for the Ladies

Geely Icon Chocolate Edition Is A Lady-Trendy Crossover From China

Cars designed specifically with women in mind are an emerging trend in China, and now Geely has one: the Geely Icon Chocolate!

The Geely Icon itself has been around since 2020, but the Chocolate Edition brings something fresh and new to the Chinese brand’s lineup with a two-tone look and added silver accents on the front and rear bumpers, keeping the roof and wheel cladding in the same matte “black” as the earlier “Macaron” special edition Icon.

The Icon Chocolate comes standard with the otherwise optional panoramic sunroof, while the wheels are also exclusive to the Chocolate Edition, featuring a jazzy design of alternating wide and narrow spokes that help to set it apart.  The exclusive Chocolate Edition exterior colors include pink (shown) and blue, while the interior uses a mix of colors called Pure White Chocolate and Coffee Chocolate.

Speaking of the interior, Geely — with a little help, no doubt, from the design teams at its captive Volvo and Lotus Cars brands — continues to make interior design a strength. The Chocolate’s cockpit is the same as what you’d find in a regular Icon, with a little bit of added pizzazz from a blue dashboard light that cuts across the middle of the car, while the dual-screen setup has a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a sizable, 12.3-inch central touch screen.

Prices haven’t been announced yet, but fans online have said that it “should” cost around 125,000 yuan (not quite $18,600), which would make the Icon Chocolate, if it went on sale in the US, nearly $10,000 less expensive than the next-nearest EV.
