Spanish bike maker Mondraker has a new, carbon-framed eMTB for us to drool over — and it’s packed with Bosch goodies!
Take a look at the new Crafty Carbon XR LTD, which is the only bike in this range of carbon endurance e-bikes that can boast the 400% assist of the Bosch Performance Line CX race motor. This limited edition model also gets its own colorway of Transparent Amber with some classy yellow accents that match the Ohlins suspension components and Mavic E-Deemax S wheelset.
The Bosch Performance Line CX race motor is a swoon-worthy piece of tech, and it can be found on other major eMTBs like the Simplon Rapcon Pmax and Orbea Wild. This motor has a special Race Mode that was developed specifically for eMTB races to give riders 400% of their pedal power. It also comes with the Extended Boost feature, which continues to give assistance for two meters after you’ve stopped pedaling — even in Race Mode.
The motor pairs with a 750 Wh Bosch Powertube battery, and it also comes with the Bosch Smart System’s KIOX 300 Display and top-tube integrated System Controller. It’ll also have a wireless mini remote on the handlebar to allow for easy, intuitive switching between assist modes without having to take your eyes off the trail.
For enduro eMTB racing, the Mondraker Crafty Carbon XR LTD is quite the gem. No pricing details or release date yet, but be prepared to pay a ton for this limited edition.
