More exciting news for the upcoming Electrify Expo Long Beach! Mitsubishi Motors is bringing its acclaimed Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-In Hybrid SUV to the expo, which is being held May 19-21. Attendees will be able to take the new plug-in hybrid for a test drive, alongside plenty of other new electrified transport options.

About the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-In Hybrid SUV

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV holds the title of being the first-ever plug-in hybrid SUV. It has an all electric-range of up to 38 miles and a total combined range of 420 miles, with a 64 combined MPGe.

Plus, trims like the SEL and higher trim levels stand out as the only mass-market PHEVs that can be fast-charged with DC power. They can be charged up to 80% in just 38 minutes, making recharging a breeze.

Prices range from $39,8451 for the entry-level ES trim, all the way up to $49,9951 for the top-of-the-line 40th Anniversary Edition.

The 2023 Outlander PHEV has earned a fair number of awards already, including “Northwest Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year” by the Northwest Automotive Press Association and “2023 Family Green Car of the Year” by Green Car Journal.

“Electrify Expo is the perfect venue to introduce the award-winning 2023 Outlander Plug-in Hybrid to customers looking to make an initial move into electrified mobility,” said Mark Chaffin, President and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors North America.

“As a leader in electrification, the Outlander Plug-in Hybrid is a logical first step for many consumers motivated by environmental awareness, but who may not be ready to go all-in on battery-only power. The 2023 Outlander Plug-in Hybrid blends the clean and quiet motoring of an electric vehicle with the range and ease of refueling of gasoline.  When customers see the exquisite exterior and interior styling coupled with the advanced technology and ease in which the vehicle transitions from the respective powertrains, we are confident they’ll want an Outlander in their driveway.”
