Ever wondered when Florida, home to palm trees and pastel sunsets, would plug in seriously to electric vehicles? Well, it just did. The Swedish EV brand Polestar opened a dedicated retail location at 336 Miracle Mile in Coral Gables (Miami-Dade County).
What started as a simple brand experience spot now handles full sales and service, and you can feel the moment growing into something much larger for the area.
The timing could hardly be better. The Miami-Dade region has logged more than 39,000 new EV registrations this past year. Over the past five years in the greater metro area, that number reaches roughly 40,000, making Florida second only to California when it comes to total EV adoption in the U.S.
Rick Bryant, Head of Polestar North America, said, “Residents in the Miami-Dade County area continue to show a strong desire for EVs. Test drives of the Polestar 4 are set to begin later this month, and we look forward to getting customers behind the wheel of our exciting SUV coupé.”
Now that Nordic Motors is running Polestar Miami, the whole place feels geared toward giving people real time with the cars instead of a quick glance. Customers get full sales support, after-sales care, and what the team likes to call a white-glove approach.

That includes genuine hands-on access, one-on-one help from Polestar Specialists, and the option to have a car brought right to a customer’s home.
General Manager of Polestar Miami Dirk Schmidt‑Liermann said, “We’re incredibly proud to bring Polestar Miami into our family. This is an exciting moment for us, especially as Polestar 4 arrives. We’re committed to building strong relationships with customers across Miami and helping grow Polestar’s presence throughout the market.”
What can you expect if you swing by? You’ll get to see the Polestar 4 SUV coupé and the Polestar 3 SUV. Test drives of the Polestar 4 will begin December 16, giving early adopters a chance to get a feel for the ride.
Polestar has been quietly expanding its retail presence across the country, and Miami joins a long list of places where the brand now has a physical footprint. More than 30 locations across North America already offer shoppers a chance to get hands-on time with the lineup, and this new spot slips right into that growing network.
Warm weather, flat roads, and a slowly growing charging infrastructure give EVs real sense there. Plus with a showroom in Coral Gables offering full service, buying and maintaining an EV just got a lot more practical.
So if you’re in Miami, thinking about going electric, or just curious how this EV thing plays out in a place where flip-flops and convertibles rule, now’s a good time to stop by Polestar Miami. Punchy SUV coupé, premium feel, and that subtle satisfaction of driving something clean.
