HiPhi, the trailblazing premium EV brand from China, is set to take on the European market. With its flagship models, the HiPhi X and the HiPhi Z, making their debut on the continent, HiPhi is signaling a major stride forward in its global expansion strategy.
Luxury Performance Paired With Innovation
The HiPhi X and the HiPhi Z are some great feats of engineering. The HiPhi X, a super SUV, boasts 220 kW dual motors that propel it from 0 to 62 mph in a breathtaking 3.9 seconds. Its 97 kWh battery offers a generous range of up to 460 km (285 miles), ensuring drivers can enjoy the journey without compromise.
Meanwhile, the HiPhi Z, a luxury GT, boasts a 494 kW output and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds, thanks to its dual electric motors. The 120 kWh battery, meanwhile, provides an impressive potential range of 555 km (344 miles).
And let’s not forget the world-first HiPhi Bot, an infotainment system that’s essentially a robotic, multi-axis arm with the freedom to rotate in eight directions, enhancing the in-car experience like never before.
European Pricing Unveiled: A Glimpse into the Future of Luxury EVs
HiPhi is one of the best-selling luxury EV brands in China, and now the company is setting its sights on the European market. Germany and Norway will soon be seeing the HiPhi X and HiPhi Z, two models that blend cutting-edge technology with opulent design. Both have already passed through TÜV SÜD certification, meaning that they have passed a technical inspection for safety and compliance according to German specs.
Both vehicles can be tailored to individual preferences, with four and six-seat configurations available. Prices start at €109,000 ($118,895) for the HiPhi X and €105,000 ($114,531) for the HiPhi Z.
Munich Airport will be the site of Europe’s first HiPhi Hub showroom, allowing potential buyers to take a look at the two vehicles’ style and feel.
Looking Ahead: HiPhi’s Future
The newest vehicle from the brand, the HiPhi Y, was recently unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show. It will also be ready to have its first customer orders taken later this year.
And HiPhi’s CTO and co-founder, Mark Stanton, assures that these cars are just the beginning. “The HiPhi X established itself as the best-selling luxury EV in China, and the HiPhi Z has also been extremely well received. Now comes the opportunity for European customers to find out why the cars have made such an impact. Their unique combination of luxury and advanced technologies brings buyers in Germany and Norway an entirely new driving experience. And this two-market start forms a perfect launchpad for us.”
