Powering the Hybrid Compact Crossover

The 2025 Lexus UX 300h features an inline 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a pair of motor-generators. This configuration is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. The motor-generators rely on a lightweight, 60-cell lithium-ion battery which is placed below the rear seat so it doesn’t detract from the rear cargo area.

The 83kW front motor and 30kW rear motor work with the 2.0-liter engine to deliver 196 horsepower. Along with the innovative hybrid system, the continuously variable automatic transmission works with electrical signals providing a smooth and seamless ride. With Lexus’ E-Four four-wheel-drive system, the UXh produces a 0-60 time of 7.9 seconds. With standard front-wheel drive, it delivers a 0-60 time of 8.0 seconds.

In typical Lexus style, the hybrid system provides exceptional fuel economy. With the E-Four all-wheel-drive system, the UXh gets a combined 43 MPG, while the front-wheel-drive models get a 41 MPG rating.

Undeniable Lexus Styling

Inside and out, the compact crossover is undeniably a Lexus. On the outside, the spindle grille has the block-shaped mesh pattern that brings attention to the Lexus emblem. The grille is accented with arrowhead LED daytime running lights and L-shaped headlights.

The sporty and aerodynamic shape features dramatic flares at the fenders. The wheel placement gives the UXh a wide, agile profile. Lexus engineers designed the wheel arch moldings to channel airflow, reduce lift, and prevent damage from gravel and road debris.

The 2025 UXh looks just as good from the rear as it does from the front thanks to the Aero Stabilizing Blade Lights that span the backside. The unique rear lights include 120 LEDs that taper at the center. Lexus added a subtle rear spoiler to deliver a quiet ride and better fuel economy.

The compact crossover comes standard with dark gray, machine-finished five-spoke alloy wheels. Drivers who choose the F Sport trim get split-five-spoke alloy wheels. Lexus offers two additional wheel choices: machine-finished in gloss black or matte black.

On the inside, the UX 300h has standard power-adjustable front seats with lumbar support. The Premium trim adds heating and ventilation to the front seats along with a power tilt-and-slide moonroof. All models have available NuLuxe-trimmed seating in Black, Palomino, Birch, and Lapis colors. The F Sport Handling trim has exclusive Black and Circuit Red sport seats.

Modern Color Choices

Lexus is adding a new color choice to the UXh: Copper Crest which is available in the Base, Premium, and F Sport trims. The Base and Premium trims are available in Caviar, Obsidian, Redline, Nori Green Pearl, Grecian Water, Cloudburst Gray, Iridium, and Eminent White Pearl. The F Sport trim colors include Redline, Cloudburst Gray, Iridium, Ultra White, Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0, and Obsidian. These colors can be paired with an Obsidian roof.

Performance Technology and F Sport Features

Lexus includes several technologies that enhance the hybrid performance and handling. All trims have Active Cornering Assist with Vehicle Stability Control. This system reduces understeer during turns to maintain stability.

The F Sport trims include F Sport Design and F Sport Handling. They all feature trim-specific wheels, grille, roof rails, wheel arch molding, and automatic headlamp leveling with fog and cornering lamps.

The F Sport Handling trim has Active Variable Suspension for enhanced stability and sharper handling. This trim also has sporty interior features like an aluminum footrest and scuff plate, sport seats, shift knob, and heated steering wheel.

Innovative Interior Infotainment

Lexus added a larger 12.3-inch multi-information display in the Premium and F Sport trims. The Base trim comes standard with a 7.0-inch multi-information display. The driver and passenger can operate the standard 8.0 center-console screen in the Base, Premium, and F Sport trims and the 12.3-inch screen in the F Sport Handling trim.

All models come with five USB ports, standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Bluetooth. Cloud Navigation, an Intelligent Assistant with voice activation, and a Head-Up Display are available.

Upgraded Standard Safety Technology

All 2025 Lexus UX 300h models have the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0. This safety suite includes a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection with Risk Avoidance Emergency Steer Assist and Left Turn Oncoming Vehicle Detection and Braking, Lane Tracing Assist, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Road Sign Assist, and Protective Driving Assist.

Lexus also includes All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control with new Curve Speed Management that adjusts the speed for a smooth and comfortable ride through curves.
