- To charge these new vehicles, Zeeba will install Ford Pro AC Charging Stations, which allow for over-the-air software updates to easily stay up-to-date.
- EV adoption is key for Zeeba, which aims to have half of its fleet be EVs by 2024.
Zeeba Automotive Group, Inc., a customer-centric fleet management company, announced its plan earlier this year to electrify its fleet with the help of Ford vehicles and Ford Pro charging solutions. With the purchase of Ford Pro AC Charging Stations and a fleet addition of 250 Ford electric vehicles, Zeeba is set to make significant strides in its commitment to sustainable transportation.
Revolutionary Charging Stations
As part of the agreement, Zeeba will acquire state-of-the-art Ford Pro AC Charging Stations that can charge any make and model of vehicle that’s within their fleet. These charging stations come equipped with a software subscription that enables over-the-air (OTA) software updates, ensuring continuous improvement and optimal charging operations.

Planned installations of these stations across various locations in Southern California will provide convenient and accessible charging options for Zeeba’s expanding electric fleet.
Ford Vehicles Leading the Way
Zeeba’s fleet electrification plan includes adding a diverse range of Ford electric vehicles, such as the Mach-E SUVs, E-Transit vans, and F-150 Lightning pickup trucks. By incorporating these cutting-edge models into their fleet, Zeeba aims to transition 50 percent of its vehicles to electric by 2024.
The decision to partner with Ford Pro was driven by the company’s confidence in Ford’s vehicles, charging solutions, and software, which align with Zeeba’s electrification goals.
A Bright Future for Zeeba and Ford Pro
The shift to electric vehicles brings a multitude of benefits to Zeeba’s last-mile service providers. By increasing the number of electric vehicles in their fleet, Zeeba significantly reduces tailpipe emissions, leading to substantial operational savings compared to traditional gasoline and diesel vehicles. This will help with attaining the company’s goal of having half their fleet be EVs by 2024.

Zeeba’s commitment to fleet electrification has garnered praise from Philip Podgorny, Ford Pro’s General Manager of Commercial and Government Sales. Podgorny expressed his excitement about collaborating with Zeeba to help them achieve their electrification goals: “Zeeba’s foresight to implement charging infrastructure and software will help them stay ahead of the curve to meet their customers’ long-term needs.”
Mike Paletz, Chief Strategy Officer at Zeeba, emphasized the company’s dedication to meeting their customers’ needs through the adoption of EVs. “Our customers are beginning to transition to an electric fleet where they see long-term value to their businesses. We are very excited about working with Ford Pro by offering customers a variety of electric vehicles and match their changing demands and critical business needs.”
