Harbinger’s Made in USA Commercial EV Trucks Are Already Delivering

Harbinger has achieved the official start of production (SOP) for its American-made electric vehicles, and has manufactured more than 100 units for customers.
  • Harbinger has already built 100+ medium-duty EVs for commercial customers.
  • Each chassis is made in USA and includes drivetrain, battery, steering, and brakes.
  • Vehicles are priced to match diesel trucks and save owners thousands in fuel and maintenance.

They didn’t wait for permission. They didn’t wait for validation. Harbinger went ahead and built the damn thing.

While most of the EV industry is still stuck in a loo, showing off concepts, pitching promises, chasing buzzwords, Harbinger quietly hit the throttle. Over 100 medium-duty electric vehicles, built from the ground up in Garden Grove, California, are already on the road. Not prototype talk. Not startup fluff. These are production units, real trucks with real jobs, delivering for real customers.

And they’re made in USA. Start to finish.

“We chose to announce the start of production only after reaching this milestone to highlight that we are producing vehicles at a volume and scale that is truly impactful,” said Harbinger CEO John Harris.

Harbinger’s initial product line will include electric stripped chassis and cab chassis products designed specifically to address the unique performance, durability, and lifespan expectations required in Class 4 to Class 7 vehicles - with zero EV acquisition premium.

Built to Work: Harbinger’s All-Electric Chassis Does One Job and Does It Right

Harbinger builds one thing, and they do it right. A stripped chassis. Not a converted gas platform. Not a retrofitted relic. A purpose-built commercial EV base engineered for medium-duty applications like delivery vans, RVs, emergency response vehicles, and box trucks.

Every chassis comes preloaded with the full electric drivetrain, a high-voltage battery system, steering, braking, and vehicle control systems. And unlike the vast majority of the market? Harbinger builds the electric drivetrain themselves.

“A lot of the experience that helped shape Harbinger’s manufacturing processes came from the experience our team brought from other EV manufacturers and automotive brands,” said Gilbert Passin, Chief Production Officer. “We learned what didn’t work elsewhere, and we adopted what worked best.”

It’s a vertically integrated process. That means less outsourcing, less markup, and more control over quality and pricing.

Built to Work. Tested to Win. Ready for the Road.

These trucks don’t just show up. They perform.

  • Range: 250+ miles on a single charge
  • Charging: Fast-charging capable. Add hundreds of miles while your delivery driver grabs a sandwich.
  • Battery: Harbinger’s proprietary pack, made for commercial use. Durable. Tested. Field-proven.
  • Drive System: In-house electric drive unit. Built for torque. Built for uptime. Built for American roads.

Testing hasn’t been confined to backlots either. Harbinger ran extensive trials in both Arizona’s heat and New Zealand’s terrain, two extremes. And passed.

Harbinger Lands $500M in Orders, Adds 100 Jobs to Keep Up

Harbinger’s already logged 4,690 vehicle orders, valued at roughly $500 million. Buyers include THOR Industries, the largest RV manufacturer in the world, and major names like ETHERO Truck + Energy and Bruckner’s Truck.

You don’t get that kind of buy-in unless the product actually works.

And that Series B funding round? $100 million. Not just to celebrate, they’re hiring 100 more workers in 2025 and scaling production.

This isn’t theoretical.

Built Here. Priced Right. Harbinger’s EV Trucks Are Made in USA and Built to Last.

Harbinger’s facility in Garden Grove goes far beyond just the basic assembly point for imported parts. This is where the engineering happens. Where the batteries are built. Where the drive units are assembled. Every bolt, battery, and brake system is American-made, designed for American businesses.

Forget the talk about shipping jobs overseas. This is how you keep them right here.

“Made in USA” doesn’t sit on a label. It’s the backbone of Harbinger’s operation. And that matters more now than ever.

And here’s what most people still get wrong: EVs are too expensive.

No. They’re not.

Harbinger’s pricing hits acquisition parity with diesel trucks. That means you pay roughly the same up front. But operating costs drop off a cliff. You cut fuel, you cut maintenance, you cut downtime.

Over the life of the vehicle, you’re looking at five figures in savings. And that’s being conservative.

Don’t take our word for it. Do the math yourself.

Built to Work. Made in America. Ready Today.

This is no lifestyle vehicle. This is a work truck. It’s built to haul, built to run, and built to generate revenue. That is the difference. Harbinger doesn’t rely on slogans to win over skeptics. The company proves its concept with steel, circuitry, and real-world performance.

If you are still holding on to the belief that electric trucks cannot perform, cost too much, or lack durability, it is time to rethink everything. These are not lab experiments. They are made in America, built to work, and ready today.
