EVCS Installs EV Charging Stations at LA Fitness & Esporta

EVCS charging stations at LA Fitness
  • EVCS has begun installing EV charging stations at gyms in Pasadena, Sherman Oaks, and Van Nuys. 
  • EVCS is offering an affordable charging plan for EV drivers. 
  • LA Fitness gym members can charge their EVs while exercising. 

While you fill your batteries at the gym, you can also charge your EV batteries. EVCS is partnering with LA Fitness and Esporta Fitness to add charging stations at 24 facilities on the West Coast.

Locations in California, Oregon, and Washington

EVCS has already begun installing fast-charging EV stations at locations in 

  • Baldwin Park 
  • Fountain Valley
  • Irvine
  • Lake Elsinore
  • Pasadena
  • San Diego Murrieta
  • Sherman Oaks
  • Van Nuys

They will begin installing charging stations soon at these California locations:

  • Antioch
  • Diamond Bar
  • Downey
  • Fremont
  • Huntington Park
  • Norco
  • Santa Clarita
  • Vista
  • Whittier

Installations in Oregon and Washington include Beaverton, Covington, Hillsboro, Kirkland, Lynnwood, and Tacoma. The entire project should be completed by June 2024. 


By the Numbers

EVCS Supercharges Washington State with 52 Fast Chargers Across 21 Locations
EVCS

The project includes 143 DC fast-charging stations and 22 Level 2 chargers. Forty chargers will have capacities exceeding 75 KW, so EVs can charge in about 30 minutes. EVCS is proud to announce that all 165 chargers will run on 100% renewable energy. 

Andrea Ojeda, VP of Marketing at Fitness International, LLC., said, “We are not only forging a collaboration with one of the nation’s largest health club operators, but we are also reinforcing our dedication to accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles across the West Coast.”

The project helps promote a healthy and environmentally-friendly lifestyle. Rather than sitting in the parking lot at a DC fast charger, LA Fitness and Esporta members can exercise while charging their EVs.

EVCS is also introducing a new subscription plan: Essential Anytime. Drivers can use this affordable and flexible plan to charge at home and in public. This plan also lets drivers use other charging networks, which is a reality for most EV drivers. EVCS is dedicated to building a seamless charging experience for electric car owners.
