Bridgestone’s Innovative EV Tire Tech at EV Rally 2023

Bridgestone’s partnership with the EV Rally 2023 event demonstrates its commitment to sustainability and shaping a sustainable future of mobility.
Bridgestone’s Turanza EV tire, designed specifically for electric vehicles, features many pioneering technologies that amplify its performance capabilities, including low rolling resistance, excellent control, and higher wear tolerance.
Bridgestone’s sponsorship of the EV Rally aligns with its Bridgestone E8 Commitment, which focuses on advancing sustainable tire technologies and solutions that preserve the environment for future generations.

Bridgestone is set to showcase its innovative Enliten technology and EV Ready products in the upcoming EV Rally 2023 event across the UK and Ireland. The five-day, 1,200-mile ‘e-Rally’ will feature 50 electric vehicles stopping off at the five capital cities between July 3rd and July 7th, making Bridgestone an official partner for the first time.

As Colin Boyton, EV Rally Event Manager says, “What sometimes gets lost is the other key parts and elements that make EVs the right choice, in terms of efficiency, and tires are a big part of that. Together with Bridgestone, we aim to showcase just that.”

The sponsorship coincides with the launch of Bridgestone’s new Turanza EV tire, which has been designed specifically for electric vehicles. Its features, such as low rolling resistance, excellent control, and decreased noise, make it perfectly suited for hybrid and EVs.

Bridgestone’s North Region Vice President Andrea Manenti said, “We will be pioneering our premium, ‘EV ready’ tires and will demonstrate their value to a huge audience over five exciting days.”
