When “the Surgeon” took this Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid under the knife, it came out looking like a Hollywood superstar!
First unveiled at Bentley’s pinnacle evening event during the Art Basel festival in Miami and hot on the heels (literally) of the limited-edition launch of the Bentley-inspired sneakers, “the Surgeon” skull and scalpel trademarks of renowned custom shoe maker Dominic Ciambrone add a subtle edge to this elevated — and remarkably tasteful — one-off hybrid Flying Spur.
Ciambrone was tasked with taking an already top-shelf Bentley to the next level for the Miami event, and served as the perfect forum for Mulliner, the car brand’s in-house personal commissioning division, to showcase the extreme levels of personalization available to high-end buyers who want their cars to stand apart from their neighbors’.
The car is finished in a duo-tone paint scheme, featuring a matte Anthracite over Anthracite Satin with satin bronze hues evident on the lower door sills and front and rear bumper trim. The 22″ color-matched wheels also feature a satin bronze finish around their outer rims, and the same finish was used on the Surgeon badges visible on the Flying Spur’s D-pillars, as well as the “Hybrid” badge on the front fender.
The Surgeon’s logo has been further burned into the walnut trim, which features gold-leaf “SURGEON” branding front and center of the dash, as well as embossed skulls and scalpels in the car’s leather headrests.
