Leapmotor is already a powerhouse in China’s competitive EV market, ranking as the fourth-largest NEV startup by sales in June 2024, according to the report. Their vehicles, the C10 and T03, are packed with the latest EV technology, offering performance, efficiency, and range.

Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis, encapsulated the sentiment perfectly: “The shipment of Leapmotor C10 and T03 vehicles to Europe this month is a landmark moment in the partnership between Stellantis and Leapmotor. This demonstrates our commitment to providing innovative, affordable, and sustainable mobility solutions to our customers.”

A Partnership with Purpose

This business move is a collaboration with a shared goal. Stellantis and Leapmotor plan to increase the number of places where you can buy Leapmotor vehicles in Europe. The plan is to go from 200 locations at the end of 2024 to 500 locations by 2026. This expansion ensures that European customers will have greater access to these new vehicles, paired with excellent service.

Zhu Jiangming, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Leapmotor, highlighted the strength of this collaboration: “China is the biggest and most competitive EV market in the world, and our products have proved their value by being acclaimed by the local customers. Since the very beginning, the C10 and T03 models are designed to meet the high standards of global customers.”

Advanced Technology

Leapmotor’s vehicles are built on the LEAP3.0 technology architecture, featuring industry-leading advancements like central integrated electronic and electrical architecture, cell-to-chassis (CTC) technology, and an intelligent cockpit.

The C10, Leapmotor’s first global product, starts at about $17,900, is a D-segment family-centric vehicle with a 420 km (261 miles) WLTP range and the ability to meet the 5-star E-NCAP rating standard. Its design has already garnered international acclaim, winning prestigious awards like the 2024 Gold Award from the French Design Awards and the US MUSE Design Awards.

On the other hand, the T03, priced at $13,500, is a stylish, small five-door urban commuter with B-segment interior space and a 265 km (165 miles) WLTP range. It’s perfect for city driving, combining practicality with style. No wonder it ranked No. 1 in the J.D. Power Initial Quality Study in the small BEV segment.
