Kia America Introduces New Educational EV Initiatives

Kia is continuing to rev up its presence in the EV market with a series of expo events this year. The brand is returning to Electrify Expo, where attendees will be able to drive a variety of Kia electric vehicles and learn more about hot topics that are important to EV drivers and enthusiasts.


Kia Electric Vehicles You’ll See at Electrify Expo

Expo attendees will get the chance to drive the Kia EV6 – both the standard version and the GT version, both of which are recent award winners. People can also get behind the wheel of the Kia Niro EV and be able to see the all-new EV9, which will be Kia’s first dedicated three-row EV SUV.

When Is Electrify Expo 2023?

Electrify Expo kicks off this year on Friday, May 19 in Long Beach, California. Here are the 2023 dates for all seven expo events:

Kia will be in attendance at the Long Beach, San Francisco, Long Island, Seattle, and Miami expos.

What Can People See at Electrify Expo 2023?

During the expo this year, industry leaders and attendees will tackle a wide range of topics that are supremely relevant to electrified mobility. Topics will include legislation affecting the EV industry, charging infrastructure, range anxiety, autonomous driving, and more.

Electrify Expo will also offer dedicated programming for the Auto and Micromobility sectors, giving attendees valuable insights and research on the challenges and trends driving the transition to an all-electric future.


Kia’s Educational Efforts

As part of its commitment to promoting EV education, Kia is also launching an EV Education 101 video series. The series will cover major aspects of EV ownership, from battery range and technology to charging infrastructure to battery life optimization. 

By offering educational resources like these, Kia hopes to provide clarity to potential EV owners and help them feel more prepared to join the electrified movement.
