If you’re wondering When is the Toyota Grand Highlander coming out?, you’ll be pleased to know it’s set to hit driveways this summer, bringing with it an exciting mix of comfort and technology. As an expanded version of its popular counterpart, the Grand Highlander distinguishes itself from the standard Highlander with more room and advanced features.

But what is the Toyota Grand Highlander? While the standard Highlander has already carved out a significant place in the hearts of many SUV enthusiasts, the Toyota Grand Highlander SUV takes things a step further.

It caters to those who are seeking that extra space and an added touch of luxury in their driving experience, without compromising on the rugged reliability Toyota is known for. Whether it’s the enhanced comfort for passengers and expanded cargo capacity, or the inclusion of top-notch safety features, the Grand Highlander offers a robust package that makes it a truly exciting new addition to the Toyota family.

Blend of performance and design

Toyota’s Grand Highlander features a new, sleek design, combined with high-tech features. Its 295-horsepower, 3.5L V6 engine, and eight-speed automatic transmission offer drivers impressive control and power on the road.

There’s also a 362-horsepower Hybrid MAX model that has 400 lb-ft of torque and can tow up to 5,000 lbs. It also doesn’t do too bad on fuel economy, either with an EPA-estimated 27 mpg. If getting the most miles from a tank is important to you, the Grand Highlander Hybrid, which features Toyota’s Hybrid System II powertrain with 245 horsepower, promises an EPA-estimated 34 combined mpg.

All three powertrain options come with selectable drive modes but you get even more with the all-wheel-drive model and the Hybrid MAX, as both get Multi-Terrain Select with three modes (Mud & Sand, Rock & Dirt, Snow).

Comfort and technology

The Grand Highlander doesn’t skimp on interior comfort or technology. It comes with a 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen, the largest ever in a Toyota vehicle, enabling drivers to manage their in-car entertainment and navigation systems with ease. In terms of safety, Toyota’s signature Safety Sense suite will provide a range of driver-assist features to add a new level of confidence out on the road.

A grand arrival this summer

The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander is set to make its grand arrival in driveways across the country this summer. With its combination of space, power, fuel efficiency, and high-tech features, the Grand Highlander is certainly worth keeping an eye on, especially if you like the look of the Highlander but need more space.

The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander price will start at $43,070 for the gas engine models, $44,670 for the hybrid, and $54,040 for the Hybrid MAX powertrain when it hits dealerships this summer.
