In an exciting new collaboration, Austrian electric yacht specialist Marian has partnered with ABT Sportsline to unveil its first electric boat, the ABT | Marian M 800-R. This luxurious vessel, designed for both elegance and efficiency, merges advanced technology, graceful aesthetics, and impressive velocity.

The ABT | Marian M 800-R is based on Marian’s renowned M 800 Spyder, and it is carefully designed as a semi-glider to accommodate an electric drive, making it highly efficient and capable of impressive performance. With a top speed of 85 km/h and a range of 80 kilometers in Cruise Mode, this electric boat offers exciting rides as well as serene cruises. The innovative design, featuring shaft propulsion, guarantees maximum cruising comfort for up to nine passengers.

The Marian M 800-R is powered by a state-of-the-art 250 kW Next-Gen-E motor, driven by a 121.5 kWh lithium-ion battery with an integrated fire suppression system. The CCS charger provides fast charging capabilities, allowing for full charges in under an hour at 150 kW, while the Juice Booster supports charges of up to 22 kW. This dual charging approach makes it compatible with both maritime and conventional EV charging stations, ensuring convenience for a variety of users.

The ABT | Marian M 800-R offers various driving modes tailored to different needs. When in ABT MODE, all water pumps kick into action, ensuring optimal cooling and unleashing up to 450 kW for a fun ride. PORT MODE reduces power to 15 kW, allowing for safe maneuverability in docks and marinas. CRUISE MODE is designed for quiet, efficient long-distance travel, with up to 250 kW of power.

In terms of looks, the M 800-R radiates sophistication, featuring Alcantara seats with seat back shells, a multifunction steering wheel that lights up, and sleek black cleats, all complimenting its refined outline. Ambient and underwater lighting enhance the boat’s allure, creating a captivating atmosphere both above and below the waterline. The 12-inch multifunction display offers modern conveniences such as a GPS chart plotter, water temperature display, and echo sounder. The vessel is available in both anthracite and white, with luxurious red leather upholstery.

The ABT | Marian M 800-R is crafted in a limited edition of 20 units at the Marian shipyard in Austria, with each boat priced at 450,000 euros (excl. VAT), approximately $483,000 at the time of publishing. After a successful premier launch event at the Formula E race in Monaco at Port Hercule on April 26, an ABT | Marian “roadshow” was planned for this year, featuring showcases at Wolfgangsee, Wörthersee, Starnberger See, and Gardasee.
