Combining grandeur with eco-friendliness, the EQS SUV might be the most luxurious of these third-row EV SUVs. You get the choice of three trim levels, ranging between 285 and 305 miles. But really, you’re getting this one for the fancy touches.
You can get the massive 56-inch Hyperscreen, top-quality materials, and all the latest tech. And while it’s closely related to the EQS sedan, the SUV offers more space and comfort for up to seven passengers. 2023 Rivian R1S
While the company may be more well-known for its R1T pickup truck, the R1S is now expanding its reach with deliveries underway now. This sleek SUV offers a range of 316 miles.
It boasts the same quad motor powertrain as the R1T, packing a punch with 835 horsepower. Additionally, this SUV can conquer any terrain with 15 inches of maximum ground clearance and a towing capacity of up to 7,700 pounds. It starts at $78,000, putting it in the mid-range for this particular list. But so far, this seems to be the only other car on this list that could qualify for tax credits. 2024 Volkswagen ID.Buzz
Of all the upcoming third-row EV SUVs, this one just looks like too much fun. Live out your dreams of driving around in a classic VW microbus but with a snazzy upgrade. You get a range of around 260 miles and will most likely see this in an AWD configuration here in the States, a similar configuration to the current ID.4.

2024 Volvo EX90
This will be Volvo’s first electric vehicle designed from the ground up. It promises both power and safety, with the entry-level trim offering 402 horsepower and Volvo’s promise that this will be their safest car yet.

Porsche K1
Let’s wrap up this list with a bang, shall we? Currently codenamed the “K1,” this super-sized electric SUV should debut in 2027 — sorry, you’ll have to wait a bit. But this crossover is going to be an off-roader that will have adjustable ground clearance settings.
When it arrives, the K1 will be a flagship vehicle for Porsche’s growing electrified lineup.
