Gustavo Occhiuzzo, the CEO of EVCS, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are thrilled and honored to receive this funding, which is a testament to EVCS’ strong and ongoing commitment to work collaboratively with public agencies to advance electric mobility in California, Oregon, and Washington.”

EVCS owns and operates the largest network of fast charging stations within the City of Los Angeles, which is home to over 250,000 EVs.

Expanding EVCS’s public charging network to over 70 new cities shows a strategic move to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles. This effort shows how EVCS is committed to making sure there are plenty of reliable, affordable, and easy-to-use fast charging choices for electric car drivers in the area.

With construction slated to commence in 2024 and extend through 2026, the new DC Fast chargers will be strategically located at popular spots where drivers often go, including gyms, hotels, libraries, and entertainment centers. Notable partners such as LA Fitness, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, and Town and Country Resort have been selected as prime sites for the installation of these chargers.

As electric vehicle adoption continues its upward trajectory, the role of DC Fast charging in supporting EV drivers cannot be understated. The seamless integration of these chargers into everyday destinations aligns with EVCS’s mission to accelerate the transition to clean transportation.

EVCS shows its dedication to sustainability by making sure all its chargers run on 100% renewable energy.
