This impressive range is attributed to Lucid’s advancements in motor design, battery cell chemistry, and thermal characteristics, which reduce energy loss and maintain optimal performance even during sustained high-speed driving. As Peter Rawlinson, CEO and CTO of Lucid, states, “The Air Grand Touring has retained its 516-mile range estimate, achieving this despite more-stringent EPA testing. More importantly, it delivers improved range and efficiency in a broader range of everyday, real-world conditions.”

Beyond its impressive range, the 2024 Lucid Air Grand Touring offers improved DC fast charging, allowing drivers to get back on the road more quickly. The vehicle’s preconditioning system ensures that the battery is at the optimal temperature for faster charging, reducing downtime during road trips. With about 15-30% faster charging, you can spend less time at charging stations and more time enjoying the open road.

This enhancement demonstrates Lucid’s commitment to creating EVs that are reliable and efficient in a broader range of real-world scenarios.

Starting at $109,900, the Lucid Air Grand Touring offers a competitive price in its segment, providing a unique combination of luxury and performance. This price point is particularly compelling given the vehicle’s range and horsepower, making it a strong contender against other luxury electric cars.

Lucid’s 2024 lineup includes several other models to suit different needs and budgets. The Lucid Air Pure, starting at $69,900, offers an EPA-estimated range of up to 419 miles, along with 430 horsepower. The Lucid Air Touring, priced from $77,900, delivers up to 411 miles of EPA-estimated range with 620 horsepower.

For those who desire ultimate performance, the Lucid Air Sapphire sets a new benchmark for speed and handling in a supersports sedan, thanks to its three-motor powertrain that delivers a remarkable 1,234 horsepower. The Air Sapphire achieves 0-60 mph in just 1.89 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph, all while maintaining an EPA-estimated range of 427 miles.
