Just how far can you push the limits of electrified performance? Zeekr is trying to find out with its 009 super electric minivan!
China sees high-end minivans a bit differently than the rest of the world. Instead of family people movers tasked primarily with shuttling juice boxes and soccer gear to the kids’ games, they’re ultra-luxurious pseudo-limos that seem more like private jets than taxis.
Don’t take our word for it, though – check out the view from the back seat of the new Zeekr 009 minivan for yourself, below, and tell us it doesn’t look look better than any flight you’ve taken recently.
Ultra Luxe Interior
The Zeekr is the first car from the Geely-owned brand to use the new ultra-long-range 140kWh Qilin battery pack from CATL, which the company claims is good for a 510-mile driving range on the Chinese CLTC testing cycle (which, admittedly, is more optimistic than the EPA test – expect about 450 miles).
Dual electric motors deliver a combined 536 HP, allowing this big van can to rocket you and seven of your friends from 0-62 MPH in less than 4.5 seconds. (!)
You can check out the new Zeekr van in the photo gallery, below, then let us know what you think of this latest version of Chinese luxury in the comments.
